You recorded more, and it did not help

The pattern is always the same. Completion is low, so you conclude the content needs work. You record another training, tighten the explanations, add the module you had been meaning to add. The number does not move.

It does not move because the content was never the problem. Students leave at four predictable places, and all four are failures of orientation rather than teaching — they could not tell where the course ended, how far along they were, or why they should open it tonight rather than at the weekend.

That is genuinely good news, because orientation is cheap to fix. It is a sentence, three lines, a schedule and a switch. It is also the reason most coaches never fix it: the work does not feel like enough.

Why this one is different

You configure it as you learn it

Every training ends with you changing something on your own course. By the last one your Mission and three goals are live, not written in a notebook you will not reopen.

Nothing is aspirational

Every control named in this course exists, with the name it actually has in the interface. If a setting is not built, it is not taught.

It tells you where things fail quietly

Release timing fails open — a schedule it cannot interpret releases the training instead of locking anyone out. That means a broken schedule looks exactly like a working one. Course four says so; most documentation does not.

Questions

Do I need a finished course to take this?

You need something to apply it to. A course with an outline and one or two trainings is enough — in some ways better, because you will build the rest with the finish line already decided.

Is this about gamification?

Partly, and not in the way the word usually implies. There are no leaderboards or streaks here. XP matters because it is how a student answers the question how close am I, and because your goal thresholds are measured in it. If your points do not agree with what you actually want students to do, that is the first thing this course fixes.

Will a countdown remove access when it runs out?

No. When a countdown reaches zero it hides. It does not revoke access, lock content or delete progress. That is the most common fear about deadlines and it is the one thing they do not do here.

How long does it take?

Eight trainings, released one a day over about a week. Each is short; the work is in applying it, and that is where the hour goes.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There is no checkout on this academy at all — you sign up, you take the course. If you want a second pair of eyes on your Mission and goals afterwards, you can book a call, and that is free too.

What happens after I finish?

A completion audit unlocks in your bonuses — a walkthrough for checking an existing course against the five surfaces. And you will have an academy with your Mission and goals already in it, which is a reasonable place to keep building.
