Outline Workshop: build your course outline live Video

Wednesday, August 12 at 3:00 PM

Outline Workshop: build your course outline live

Online

Two hours, one outline. You bring a subject you already know how to teach; you leave with a mission sentence, three finish lines and four to six modules on paper. We work backwards from the result rather than forwards from lesson one, which is the reason most outlines stall. Free to join, and the recording goes out afterwards.

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Online

An open hour. No agenda and no slides — you bring the specific thing that is blocking you, whether that is an outline that will not settle, a lesson you have re-recorded four times, or a launch that went quiet, and we work on it in front of everyone. Listening without asking anything is completely fine and most people do that the first time.

Recording Day: film your first training with us Video

Recording Day: film your first training with us

Online

A working session for the training that keeps not getting recorded. We set up in whatever room you have, sort the sound and the light with equipment you already own, plan the lesson on four bullets, and then everyone goes away and records for twenty minutes and comes back. Most people leave with training one finished, which is the point at which a course becomes real.

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Online

The fortnightly open hour. Bring an outline, a draft lesson, a pricing decision or an email nobody replied to, and we look at it together. Questions from people earlier in the process are usually the most useful ones in the room, so do not wait until you feel qualified to ask.

Launch Clinic: your first ten students

Launch Clinic: your first ten students

Online

A practical session about the part everyone dreads. We write the list of ten real people by hand, draft the message you will actually send them, and work through the two or three sentences that make the difference between a reply and silence. By the end you have a list, a message and a date — the three things that turn a finished course into a course with students in it.

Follow-Up Workshop: the emails that run themselves

Follow-Up Workshop: the emails that run themselves

Online

Four emails do most of the work in a course: the welcome, the recognition after a first win, the nudge when someone goes quiet, and the close when they finish. We write all four in this session, then set them up as automations so they run for every student from now on without you touching them again. Bring an existing course or the outline of one.

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Office Hours: bring the thing you are stuck on

Online

The last open hour of the year. Bring whatever is unfinished — the outline, the recording, the launch, the awkward pricing conversation — and we work on it together. If you have shipped something since the summer, bring that instead and tell us what you would do differently.

Pricing Roundtable: what your outcome is worth

Wednesday, November 18 at 3:00 PM

Pricing Roundtable: what your outcome is worth

Online

A discussion rather than a lecture, because pricing is a decision and nobody can make it for you. We look at how to describe the outcome in a buyer's language, what your price signals before anyone reads a word of the sales page, and how to say a number out loud without apologising for it. Bring a course you are about to price, or one you priced and now doubt.
